BWCAWiki logo
I know that Gerg said that there's one in the works, but I thought I'd play around with some ideas anyways (an excuse to photoshop fresh BWCA pics):
I think the logo needs a canoe or canoe paddle in it, though.

2006 Boundary Waters trip report
We had an awesome trip through the southeastern BWCAW! Two of us, 5 nights, 6 days, 30 portages, and sort of a "figure eight" route from Poplar to Winchell to Long Island to Cherokee to Brule to Winchell back to Poplar. The breakdown of our route was as follows:
DAY 1

DAY 2
- Winchell Lake-Omega Lake-Kiskadinna Lake-Muskeg Lake-Long Island Lake (288 rods in 5 portages)
DAY 3
- Long Island Lake-Long Island River-Gordon Lake-(daytrip to Unload Lake-Frost Lake-Frost River-Frost Lake-Unload Lake-Gordon Lake)-Cherokee Lake (46 rods in 3 portages with full gear)
DAY 4
- Cherokee Lake-Sitka Lake-North Temperance Lake-South Temperance Lake-Brule Lake-Lily Lake-Mulligan Lake-Grassy Lake-Wanihigan Lake-Winchell Lake (633 rods in 9 portages)
DAY 5
- Winchell Lake-Omega Lake-Henson Lake-Pillsbery Lake-Allen Lake-Horseshoe Lake (267 rods in 5 portages)
DAY 6
- Horseshoe Lake-Caribou Lake-Swamp Lake-Poplar Lake (275 rods in 3 portages)
I'll try to write up a brief trip report and post it here, as well as adding to the relevant lake articles while my memory is fresh. -- BlueCanoe 11:45, 12 July 2006 (PDT)
