Tuscarora is a 833 acre lake with a max depth of 130 feet and elevation of 1703 ft. The 366 rod portage from entry point Missing Link Lake is the most direct access.

Camping

There are 10 campsites on Tuscarora. The extreme eastern campsite should be used only in emergencies as the landing is quite difficult, requiring campers to unload while perched on a small ledge of granite and hoist their gear up a 10 foot cliff. The site itself is small and not ideal. The campsite on the northern shore, on the point of land near the portage from Missing Link, is nice, with a good rock for sunbathing and plenty of room. The island site is also excellent.

Fishing

Tuscarora is known for its lake trout fishing. Some large northern pike also inhabit the lake.
