Swamp Lake is a small lake on the U.S.-Canada border west of Saganaga Lake. Swamp Lake is on the Border Route and so sees quite a bit of traffic, although it does not have any campsites.

Routes and destinations
- A very short, rocky 5-rod portage connects the east side of Swamp Lake to Third Bay of Saganaga Lake.
- West via the Monument Portage 80 rods to Ottertrack Lake.
- Southwest 155 rods to Ashdick Lake

Natural history
A forest fire burned the north (Quetico) side of Swamp Lake sometime in the 1970's or 1980's.
