Rat Lake is a small border lake near Rose Lake in the eastern BWCAW.

Routes

Rat Lake is part of the historical Border Route. To the east, the 4 rod Rat Portage connects to Rose Lake, while the 57 rod South Lake Portage connects to South Lake to the west.

History

The Voyageurs called Rat Lake Lac la Marte, meaning "pine marten lake".
