Parent Lake

Parent Lake is a 326 acre lake located near the Snowbank Lake entry point. It is connected to Snowbank by an 80 rod portage and to Disappointment Lake by an 80 rod portage. The Snowbank Trail also passes by the southeast shore.

Camping

There are two paddle campsites and one backpacking site. The paddle site on the northeast corner features mature red pines, a large sand beach, and ample tent pads. It is also accessible by a trail directly to the Disappointment Lake portage.

Fishing

Parent is reported to have good fishing for Smallmouth Bass and Walleye.
