Joe Seliga

Joe Seliga (1911 - 2005) was a master canoe builder who lived in Ely, Minnesota. He and his wife, Nora, hand-built several thousand wood-canvas canoes that are widely-respected and sought-after. Many of his canoes are possessed and used by YMCA Camp Widjiwagan and the Ely Boy Scout Base.
