Ester Lake

Ester Lake is a medium-sized lake in the BWCAW situated between Ottertrack Lake to the north and Hanson Lake in the south.

Connections

  • The portage from Ottertrack rises steeply to Ester.
  • The connection to Hanson Lake is a shallow channel, which can usually be paddled without portaging. From Hanson, a downhill portage connects to the South Arm of Knife Lake.
